Exhibiting of the exhibition “Mater Dei. Iconografia di un Amore”
The exhibition “Mater Dei. Iconografia di un Amore” will be held from February 13 to May 3, 2015. Over 30 painting and graphic works from the state and private (funds) collections of Perugia and the National Art museum of the Republic of Belarus will be exhibited at the exhibition. The visitors of the National Art museum of the Republic of Belarus will have a unique chance to see the works of art which were created by artists of the Renaissance, as well as craftsmen of the 15th–19th centuries who have worked in traditions of old masters.
The exhibition is organized by the Fund of the Academy of Fine Arts named after Pietro Vanucci (Perugia), the Superintendence for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-Anthropological Heritage of Perugia (the National Gallery of Umbria), the Savings bank of Perugia, the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Belarus and the National Art museum of the Republic of Belarus.
The exhibition curators: Fabio De Chirico (head of the Superintendence for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage of Umbria, director of the National Gallery of Umbria), Fedora Boca (the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia named after Pietro Vannucci), Svetlana Prokopieva (the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus).
