September Evening Party in the Art Museum

The National Art Museum congratulates Minsk citizens and visitors on the City Day and invites to take part in the event “September Evening Party in the Art Museum”, which will be held on September 15, 2013.

 The program

 12.00 p.m. Children’s plein air “My City” and Studio “On a Visit to Tyubik” (head is Olga Brigadnaya). The area in front of the museum.

 1.30 p.m. The opening of the exhibition “Magic Power of Inspiration” by the pupils of the 75th High School of Minsk. Gala concert. The white hall of the museum.

 3.00 p.m. The presentation of the painting by Sergey Solokhin “Belief is the Gift of God”. The painting presents the portrait of Viktor Rovdo, People’s Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, head of the department of choral conducting at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Honored Academic Choir of the National Television and Radio Company of Belarus, professor. The white hall of the museum.


3.20 p.m. Concert program:


The Academic Choir of the National Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus. Artistic director is Pavel Shepelyov.

The student choir of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Artistic director is an assistant professor of choral conducting department Inessa Bodyako.

Folk band “Cantabile” (Smorgon). Artistic director is Svetlana Sadovskaya.


4.00 p.m. Alice Minina’s poetic program “How many cities we will have”.

4.15 p.m. Dima Katechev (Live Looping: electric violin and beatbox) – live sound, smart electronics and a lot of improvisation...

 4.30 p.m. Nikita Naydenov and his acoustic program “Fall”.

 5.00 p.m. The Student Theatre of the faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University will show a new presentation “Monologues in the Square” and will celebrate its rename as the Barefoot Student Theatre.

The play is actors’ fantasies on the persistent problems of mankind against the coffee house sceneries on the square of the eastern city. A lady-hipster, tragicomic executioner, an amorous fishwife and other participants, trapped between a freak state and an archetypal image, will get a few minutes’ voice and will speak about eternity.

The performance will be held in the show-room of the Eastern Art of the National Museum of Art. The museum is the place where there is a dialog between the audience and time. The Barefoot Student Theatre tries to make the inner sense more deeply. The show-room of the East countries.

6.20 p.m. The Interactive Theatre “42” and its performance “Teabreak”

The Interactive Theater “42” will try to provide the audience in a radius of 42 meters with its tranquility and harmony. The theatre wants people to pay attention to the world full of wonders. Stop and feel. There is no time. There are we, you, they, we all...trees and birds. The sky and beautiful color combinations. Let’s forget about our business and problems, just calm down, smile to a stranger. Just take a tea break. The white hall of the museum.
