“Belarus-Born Artists of the School of Paris. From the collection of Belgasprombank, museum and private collections”
On September 22 the National Art Museum will open the representative
exhibition art-project “Belarus-Born Artists of the School of Paris. From the
collection of Belgasprombank, museum and private collections”. About 100
paintings, graphic art works and 1 sculpture by our fellow-countrymen will be
exhibited in Belarus for the first time ever.
The visitors will see over 40 paintings from the corporative collection of Belgasprombank, 40 – from private collections in Belarus and Saint-Petersburg (it turns out that it is this fine art of the Belarusian abroad that some persons in Minsk collect) and several graphic art works from two museums: the Marc Chagall Museum in Vitebsk and the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
Work exhibition will continue until January 14, 2013.
