The exhibition of Uladzimir Savich was solemnly opened
The exhibition of Uladzimir
Savich “Talk with the Own Shadow or a Game with Colour” dedicated to the 60th
birthday of the artist was solemnly opened in the museum on 7 September 2012.
A music band of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts started the opening ceremony in the museum hall.
Director general of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Prokoptsov delivered an opening speech.
Words of gratitude and
congratulation were said to Uladzimir Savich by Minister of culture of the
Republic of Belarus Pavel Latushko; an honoured guest from Moscow – executive
chairman of the executive committee of the International Confederation of
Unions of Artists Masut Fatkulin; people’s artist of the Republic of Belarus
Gavriil Vaschenko; rector of the Belarusian State University of Culture and
Arts, chairman of creative unions and cultural 
funds of Belarus, Ph.D in
philosophy Borys Svetlov; rector of the Belarusian Academy of Arts, Ph.D. in
art Mikhail Borozna; winner of the State prize of the Republic of Belarus,
honoured worker of art Vladimir Zinkevich; first chairman deputy and close
friend of Uladzimir Savich Grygory Sitnitsa.
At the opening ceremony end Uladzimir Savich – an honoured worker of arts of the Republic of Belarus, a professor, the chairman of the public association “Belarusian Union of Artists”, a winner of the State prize of the Republic of Belarus – made his speech.
After the speeches the
honoured guests and the invited attended the exhibition in the hall and the
gallery of the museum (72 fine art works from the artist’s workshop, almost a
half of them was painted in 2012).
