Free Land Spaces
On January 12, 2012 at 5 pm the exhibition “Free Land Spaces”
(Belarusian landscape of 1950 – 2000-s) will open within the scope of the
museum project “Our Collections”. The exhibition will present about 80
picturesque works by Belarusian artists created in the landscape genre. Works
from the funds of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus
both known earlier from numerous exhibitions and little-known to the wide range
of spectators will make up the exhibition.
The exhibition “Free Land Spaces” gives spectators an opportunity to see paintings by people’s artists Ivan Akhremchyk, Vytaly Tsvirko, Pavel Maslennikau, Hauryyl Vaschanka, May Dantsih, Viktar Hramyka, Leanid Schemyalyou etc and also works by Valery Shkaruba, Kanstantsin Kachan, Uladzimir Kazhukh, Aleh Skavarodka, Vyacheslau Valynets, Mikalay Buschyk and other masters that continue the best traditions of the Belarusian landscape painting in their works.
The exhibition “Free Land Spaces” will be open from January 12, 2012 till February, 27, 2012 in the gallery.
