Paviel Kandrusievich’s exhibition ‘Magnificat’ opens at the Museum of Belarusian Folk Art in Raubichy on July 22, 2020.
The museum building is a building for public worship of the mid-19th century. In olden days, it was the Church of St. Matthew, then the Assumption Church. Now it is a temple of art. This holy place and its ecclesiastical architecture provided the author with the idea of creating the exhibition which would combine religiosity and secular art.
Paviel Kandrusievich showed himself as a landscape and religion painter.
The exhibition will present about 30 works on religious and philosophical themes, landscapes.
The exhibition runs from July 22 to September 22, 2020.
Opening hours: Wednesday – Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Cost of admission: adults – 3 rub., schoolchildren – 2 rub.
