Photo report. Opening of the exhibition “Witold Byalynitsky-Birulya: the master of poetic landscape” In Vilnius

An opening of the painting exhibition “Witold Byalynitsky-Birulya: the master of poetic landscape” from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Lithuanian Art Museum on May 21, 2015. The exhibition features 36 paintings and studies by Witold Byalynitsky-Birulya from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, as well as 4 artworks from Lithuanian museum collections. The exhibition will last to September 13, 2015.

At the opening ceremony the speech was given by Alexander Korol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Lithuania; Vladimir Prokoptsov, Director General of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus; Laima Bialopetravičienė, Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Art Museum. The opening was also attended by Alexander Udaltsov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Lithuania; Patricia Poderite, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania; the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Belarus, the staff of the National Art Museum of Belarus, teachers and students of the Skaryna Belarusian School of Vilnius.
